​NBYC COMMUNICATIONS

​There are several avenues of communication within the club, and members are
encouraged to utilize each of them:

Website: Access Club information including SeaWord newsletters, club calendar,
photos, flyers for upcoming events, membership directory, by-laws, Board minutes,
financial reports, and more: www.NewBernYachtClub.com

SeaWord Newsletter: These monthly newsletters include officer reports, upcoming
cruises, social events, and items pertinent to the club’s affairs. The newsletter
deadline is the 25th of each month: [email protected]

SeaWord Extra: These are emails sent to the membership to make club-related
announcements between newsletter publications. Examples are upcoming cruises,
social events, sign-up information, new member applications, board member
communications, and so forth. Members are invited use this method by sending the
email for distribution to [email protected]. This is not a vehicle for
sending personal information (see NBYC Family below).

Facebook: Our Facebook page is a blog for members to share NBYC fun times,
photos, and adventures! Search Facebook for New Bern Yacht Club (Private
Members Club). Posts will appear in Visitor Posts/Community or send them to
[email protected] to be posted in the Timeline.
